Human rights violations in North Korea

In our blog we are talking about the violations of human rights by the government of North Korea. There is no freedom of speech about the government of North Korea, and those who criticize the regime are detained. Many people are dying each day from starvation because of neglect of the government. We are hoping to show the issue of human rights violations that are still occuring everday in North Korea.

Development

The Korean War which was fought from 1950 to 1953. Between 1995 and 1998 millions of people died from starvation because of the neglect from the government. In 1998 the Human Rights Commision was set up to bring up and solve the violation of human rights in North Korea.
This issue has become much worse as many more people are dying of famine, and as the military is gaining more control over the country.
